I noticed Mark's comment in the previous post and decided to say a few words about the man who is Plaxico Burress.
Burress was the player who caught the winning touchdown pass from Eli Manning in Super Bowl XLII, otherwise ruining a perfect season for the greatest team of all time, the 2007 New England Patriots. Plaxico is this year's Jeremy Shockey, an asshole who sucks at being a team player and sucks even more at shutting up and playing football.
The worst part about all of this is that this idiot managed to shoot himself. He didn't even have the honor to get shot by someone else. He discharged his own weapon into his own leg in a city which is tougher on guns than any other city in the United States.
You know what I call all of this?
Karma.
Stay out of the pool...all the girls are on the blue line. Now with extra Kings coverage and Angels prognostications.

From the moment I found myself capable of writing coherent sentences with one of those huge pencils in kindergarten, I've been fond of written word as a form of communication. As I've gone to college and majored in engineering, my opportunities to write have declined in number and quality.
I decided to start writing this blog once I realized my friends were sick of hearing me talk about sports, particularly when so few of them shared the same team interests.
The "pool" referenced in the title block is not a pool at all. It's the blue area of the goal crease in hockey. Geometry is a serious discipline in goaltending. Increase the depth of your body in the net and you decrease the available empty net area.
