1.) Throw strikes.
2.) Score at least three runs.

Formula for losing to the A's:

1.) Walk batters.
2.) Walk more batters.
3.) Fail to score at least three runs.

The Angels chose the second method this evening. They lost. Well, they're losing 7-1 in the eighth, and I'm tired, so I'm assuming they lost.

Lackey, Bulger, and O'Day all get negative points on the day, Bulger of the 3 BB and 1 HBP in particular.
